Ego Booster

Ego Booster, was created by Artisan Vapers and Marra Innovations to make the experience of vaping (using an e-cigarette like the ego or tornado) an absolute delight! I had the pleasure of being involve with this project since the beginning, seeing the company start their operations and their huge success.

If you do not know what is an e-cigarette, please allow me to explain you a little bit more about the problem the geniuses from Artisan Vapers and Marra Innovation want to solve.

How about finding the cure for cancer? Or event better, preventing that cancer from happening. If you pay attention to any pack of cigarettes you will find a legend in huge bold letters: WARNING CIGARETTES CAUSE LUNG CANCER, 85% of lung cancers are caused by smoking, 80% of lung cancer victims die within three years. Ok, maybe you could miss that little detail, but what about the large full color image of something similar to lung after being roasted in a BBQ. That is really scary! Considering such a terrible marketing, why people still smoke? The main reason is because smokers are hocked to nicotine and that drug is more 1000x more addictive than alcohol, 100x more potent than barbiturates and 10x more powerful than cocaine. Nicotine is poison, but if you are a smoker that is the least of you problems, a regular cigarette also contains, acetone(solvent), methanol(used as rocket fuel), cadmium (used in batteries), carbon monoxide (found in exhaust fuels), vinyl chloride(used in plastic materials), DDT(insecticide), polonium(a radioactive element), arsenic(lethal poison), ammoniac (detergent), cyanhydric (it was used in gas chambers) and other 60 to 70 toxic chemicals.

E-cigarettes where created to emulate the sensation and taste of smoking without all the life threatening toxins. They call them vapers, because instead of chocking smoke you inhale vapor. The device uses heat, or ultrasonics, to vaporize a propylene glycol- or glycerin-based liquid solution into an aerosol mist, similar to the way a nebulizer or humidifier vaporizes solutions for inhalation. You can choose the liquid you want to vape and the % of nicotine on it. So if you are resolute to quit smoking, you can gradually reduce the amount and not facing any discomfort. Also it is a very economical option to smoking, in Canada a pack of cigarettes costs 20 dollars, and an e-cigarettes is a one time purchase device between $60-$300, some atomizers to replace and the juice (the flavored liquid) to add for $5-$20.

That is what I love about this project it saves money and saves lives delivering a great user experience.
