Presently living and working in Canada, as a POS Design Manager for Mountain Crest, Luis has also successfully worked in diverse designing positions such as: Integral Designer (Ideeën, Guadalajara, Mexico), Design History Researcher (DPC Disseny i Produccions Culturals), Art and Usability Director (Not Only Webs) and Design Consultant (FoodCultura Museum), the last three in Barcelona, Spain. His professional education (a Bachellors Degree in Design and a Master Degree in Product Conceptualization and Development) as well as his professional experience gives him the technique, methodology and discipline to successfully aboard any design project. Either as a part of an institution, or as a freelancer, Luis has developed diverse designing projects for important companies such as: Kodak, Panasonic Spain, HP, Daewoo, Decathlon, and even the United Nations Programme for the Enviroment in Latin America; working in all areas of design: from web pages development to product design, and from publicity to social consciousness. Luis knows that being a highly skilled, creative and innovative designer is not enough. Being enthusiastic, hard working and a team player is also a must. That is why he offers an extra effort that transforms an everyday job from good to great. And he just calls that “passion”. |
